Go Green! Our new Carton Boxes

 

At BIOKÉ we continue to strive to reduce our environmental footprint. New specially designed carton boxes for cold shipments will help to reduce waste. Swapping our smallest styrofoam boxes with recyclable carton boxes has enabled an 80% reduction of styrofoam usage. We can be environmentally conscious while safeguarding performance.

The carton box contains 2 insulation layers with carton pulp that isolate the products in the box. Tests at our warehouse have shown that the carton boxes keep the temperature between 2 - 8°C over a minimum period of 48 hours (see graph below) and that the shipment will not alter the functionality or stability of our products. After arrival, please make sure to store the products at their individual appropriate temperatures which are visible on each product.

As BIOKÉ is part of Cell Signaling Technology® (CST), we are using the same carton boxes with the CST logo on it. We hope this information proves useful and please let us know if you have any additional questions.
