BIOKÉ and BioSkryb Genomics announce a distribution agreement for the Benelux and Nordic countries.

LEIDEN July 18, 2023 - BIOKÉ, a leading distributor of life science technologies throughout Europe, has partnered with BioSkryb Genomics (BioSkryb), a pioneer in comprehensive single-cell multiomic research solutions, to distribute Primary Template-directed Amplification (PTA) technology across the Benelux (Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg) and Nordic (Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland) regions, effective immediately.

BioSkryb's ResolveDNA® provides industry-leading genomic coverage by leveraging novel PTA technology to dramatically increase genomic capture and coverage. The ResolveDNA product line reproduces genomes of single cells to provide high-quality, scalable analysis of single-cell genomic heterogeneity in a more accurate, uniform and reproducible manner than traditional methods.

BioSkryb also has a first of its kind multiomic product, ResolveOME™, that enables whole genome and whole transcriptome analysis within each individual cell in an integrated workflow. When coupled with BioSkryb’s BaseJumper™ bioinformatics platform, which provides quick analysis of complex data at scale, investigators can comprehensively explore single cell multiomic data to enhance our understanding of complex diseases.

“Our technology allows for a deeper understanding of the cellular ecosystem and has the potential to transform the way researchers and clinicians understand and treat devastating diseases, such as cancer,” said Suresh Pisharody, CEO of BioSkryb Genomics. “We are excited to work closely with the BIOKÉ team to bring our powerful solutions to a broader network of researchers in the European market.”

“By combining BIOKÉ’s in-depth knowledge of the genomics market space with BioSkryb’s innovative WGA approach,” says Robert Hovingh, Sales Manager Europe BIOKÉ, “this agreement will provide tools to researchers to study genomic heterogeneity and enable the development of new diagnostics for insights into human disease at the cellular level.”
