The LeviCell cartridge S2.1
The LeviCell cartridge is a single-use consumable designed to work with the LeviCell 1.0. By containing the entire sample path onboard, it prevents sample to sample cross-contamination issues and negates any cleaning requirements between runs.

How It Works

STEP 1
Sample Introduction
Dispense a sample of mixed cells (or cells to be analyzed) into the single use consumable. Cells flow into the analysis channel and are levitated.

STEP 2
Magnetic Levitation
By flowing cells through a channel surrounded by magnets, LevitasBio technology separates individual cells according to type or state based on the different levitation heights caused by the unique physical properties.

STEP 3
Stabilization & Measuring
The different cell types stabilize at different levitation heights. As the sample flows through the system, different cell types are analyzed and collected.

STEP 4
Cell Separation
By continuing to aspirate the sample, the levitated cells transition to a bifurcation that separates cells into the different ports on the consumable.

Collection
The separated cell populations are then pipetted out of the consumable.
