EXTRACTION UPDATE: RNA special - July 2017
Isolate miRNA easily for reliable monitoring
Small RNA
> 15 nt
Simple & Fast
From Plasma or Serum Samples
There is a simple and fast method to isolate small RNA >15 nt, such as micro RNA (miRNA), from serum or plasma. The DNA can be isolated as well or digested on column to eliminate interference of miRNA genes with downstream applications. The NucleoSpin miRNA Plasma procedure isolates total RNA and DNA from plasma without the need to resort to the cumbersome phenol / chloroform extraction or a time-consuming proteinase digest.
NucleoZOL is a very efficient reagent for the isolation of RNA from various sample types, such as tissue, yeast, bacteria, viruses, and cell cultures. Total RNA and small RNA can be extracted with a simple one-phase extraction avoiding an inconvenient two-phase separation. The easy one-phase extraction minimizes the risk of sample loss or phenol carryover. DNA, proteins, and other disturbing compounds are removed by precipitation.
Plant and fungal material is diverse in terms of structure, cell wall composition, biochemical compounds and the types of organs. The NucleoSpin RNA Plant and Fungi kit is developed to efficiently purify high integrity RNA from samples rich in secondary metabolites, sugar, starch or other compounds that interfere with nucleic acid purification methods. The kit enables RNA isolation from diverse plant organs like seeds, roots, stems, needles and others.
NucleoSpin RNA Set for NucleoZOL is designed for combining the one-phase RNA isolation reagent NucleoZOL with silica spin columns. The convenient bind-wash-elute procedure allows highly efficient isolation of pure RNA (small and large RNA).
Highly efficient clean-up and concentration of RNA samples
The NucleoSpin RNA Clean-up XS kit allows clean-up and concentration of RNA with an A260/A280 ratio generally exceeding 1.9. Due to the high RNA purity large amounts of eluates can successfully be used as template in RT-PCR without inhibition.
