MACHEREY-NAGEL has released new kits for the isolation of RNA (> 200 nt) from fresh or frozen whole blood stabilized with for example, EDTA, citrate, or heparin. The Mini/Midi spin kits allow the DIRECT lysis with superior yield of high-quality RNA at room temperature. For superior quality, genomic DNA is removed by a DNA digestion on column, using the included RNase-free recombinant DNase. For medium and high throughput of blood samples, MACHEREY-NAGEL also offers the kits in the 8-well strip and 96-well plate formats.
